Erdos is one of the biggest players in cashmere, and 1436 is its luxury consumer brand. The name comprises the “best” cashmere hair that is 14 microns in diameter and 36mm in length — this is a commercial reference spec because, of course, small quantities of finer and longer cashmere hairs are available.

Shang Xia
Hermès invested in the brand with the mission of preserving and elevating Chinese craftsmanship and heritage. The brand never really got off the ground and opened less than a handful of stores under its Parisian owner. The store now operates 7 stores, with its 2013 Paris store being closed for good. Under its new owner, the investment vehicle of the Agnelli descendants - Exor N.V., the brand focuses on homeware and furniture.

Duanmu
Founded in 2011, DUANMU set out to design tailor-made wooden cabinets for antique, artwork and other collectibles. From 2016 onwards, it has been making handbags and accessories. This brand is unironically compared to Hermès, and for good reason. The techniques, details and craftsmanship are unparalleled in the RTW segment.
