Carissimi

The combination of a 37-gauge knit and ultrafine merino wool from Loro Piana is turned into the uber-quarter zip that can be worn against the skin or layered over a shirt.
Charles Tyrwhitt

Made in India from extrafine merino wool, these light-knit quarter zips are the best option if you want something durable and not sell a kidney. The drawbacks ? It is not the softest wool, but that is to be expected for $129 USD.
Paul James Knitwear

Made from extra fine Italian spun merino wool supplied by Filivivi, Paul James knits all its garments in India and the UK. I have had very good experiences with their knitwear and would by them again.
Filippo de Laurentiis

This midweight merino wool sweater from Filippo de Laurentiis is a heavier alternative that will perform well outside of airconditioned desk-diving environments. The brand remains one of my favorite knitwear makers because of its wide range of fibers, and virtually flawless execution. Yes, the zipper isn’t customized but its use of high-end yarns (camel, yak, “British cashmere” et al) has made it one of the most worn brands in my wardrobe.
Rbasics

Is a relatively young brand that blends “Scandinavian minimalism and Swiss precision”. The garments are knitted in Portugal from extrafine Italian merino wool.
Sunspel

A sports-inspired half-zip jumper, in an Italian-spun extra-fine merino wool. Knitted on traditional Bentley frame knitting machines from Loughborough, England, it is beautifully lightweight, making it a perfect option for layering all year round.
