To get the obvious out of the way, let me quickly explain the two most common fabrics

Percale vs Sateen

My Linen ©

Percale is best suited for warmer climates and people who run hot. It allows for more airflow and costs less to produce because it requires less material. Because of its crisp feel, it is often used in hotels. Whereas sateen is silkier and heavier, its main weakness is its tendency towards pilling.

The French company has been providing luxury bedding since 1860, and some of its top tier products even come with a concierge service that will train your staff how to care for your new set of Frette sheets properly. I personally stick with the hotel collection, which regularly goes on sale.
