See idk if this is just a London problem bc I went to buy a Christmas gift at Carl Friedrik in Mayfair and all the floor items were super scratched up (fine whatever bc they're display), when I asked to see a new one the guy was like "they scratch super quickly anyway so there's not much difference" ?????? i think he just didn't want to bother getting stock out which is fine but hell of a sales pitch lmao and the new one he finally got me had the compartments all warped out of shape already which was disappointing
