Some weeks, there are thoughts and ideas you want to share, and sometimes there aren’t any. So here are just housekeeping updates.
The subscription benefits have been updated, and free subscribers received an email about that last week. Once we wrap up next week’s Neapolitan shirt comparison, we will move on to some women’s items - including a Max Mara button up. Similar to the brand list, there will also be a qualitative sheet that awards points to shirts based on construction, trims, and handwork.

I found this to be an interesting discourse - one that is rarely held in public.
Menswear "grails"
There are pieces in menswear that most people have on their bucket lists. They get parrotted by each and everyone as being the best-in-class products. Most of them go on sale rarely, if ever, and thus strengthening their resale value. A few of them are true one and done items that will last you a lifetime - when cared for appropriately.
“Men buy fewer items and wear them for years and years and years” - hence why ThredUp only offers womens and kids apparel. 780k metric tons of used clothes are exported from the US and Canada combined every year.
